AlpacaNation Celebrates 10 Years!

This past weekend we rang in 2011, and we also reached another important milestone: 10 years since the launch of AlpacaNation.com! For those of you who have been with us since the early years, you know how exciting these past ten years have been. It was at the 2000 AOBA National Conference that ten adventurous alpaca breeders signed up for the site that would revolutionize the way alpacas are bought and sold in North America. What ensued in the months and years following was more than we could have ever hoped or asked for:

• Over 2,000 farm members and 6,000 free user accounts,
• Over 100,000 listings added,
• Over 2,000,000 searches performed,
• Over 40,000 listings marked as sold, and
• Ranked the #1 visited Alpaca Web site by Alexa.com.
